Building a laser cut model from 3mm MDF is a great way to spend time because it’s fun and engaging. It combines thinking and doing, keeping both your mind and hands busy.
Superglue is often needed to hold the pieces together securely*. Putting the pieces together requires focus and patience, which can help you relax.
Watching a detailed model come to life from flat MDF sheets is very satisfying. You can also be creative, adding your own touches with paint or decorations.
It’s a bit like solving a puzzle and learning how things fit together. Finishing a model gives you a sense of achievement and something cool to show for your effort.
*It is recommended that superglue is used only when you are certain that the pieces are correctly assembled. Sometimes this means going a few steps ahead, or oven completing the puzzle before gluing.
