How to Use Bantex Metal File Fasteners
1. Punch holes in your papers
Use a standard 2-hole punch (80mm spacing between holes).
Make sure your papers are neatly aligned.
2. Insert the fastener base
Slide the flat metal base of the Bantex fastener through the holes in your file or folder from the back side.
The two metal prongs should stick out the front.
3. Place your papers onto the prongs
Stack your punched documents over the prongs.
Keep the pages in the correct order.
4. Add the compressor bar (optional)
Slide the metal compressor bar down over the prongs, pressing it gently against the top of the paper stack.
This helps keep everything flat and secure.
5. Fold the prongs outward
Bend each prong flat in opposite directions across the top of the compressor bar.
Your documents are now securely fastened and ready to file.
